The Cavs lost to the Toronto Raptors 101-91 last night, following the opening-day loss to the Celtics on Tuesday. The Cavs have now started the season 0-2, to the surprise of many people. LeBron turned in another MVP-like performance with his 25th career triple double, but the Cavs did not look in sync offensively and defensively gave up 28 points to Andrea Bargnani?. The best way to look at this situation is to realize that the Cavs added Shaq, and are playing without their starting 2-guard Delonte West. The season has just started.. give the players a chance to get into their respective roles and understand what they need to do to contribute to this team. Daniel Gibson and Anthony Parker both looked good shooting the 3-point ball. Another bright spot was the fact that the Cavs were down by almost 20 at half, and cut the lead down to 1 before eventually losing. Please get it together soon Mike Brown, no more losses to the Raptors (I hate Hedo Turkoglu). Let's pretend the first two games of the season didn't happen, and the real season opener is Friday vs. the Timberwolves. Even in defeat, LeBron James is underrated

Cavs blow out Mavs, look to Celtics

This was just a taste of what's to come. There's 6 days until the season opener vs. Boston, and last night the Cavs mercked the Mavericks by a score of 96-66. Mike Brown played the starters well into the third quarter, the Mavericks did not. Mo Williams led the way with 16 points and 11 assists. Zydrunas also had 16. LeBron had a mundane 12 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks (in only 20 minutes). The Cavs had 3 plays last night that made it into SportsCenter's Top 10. This was yet another preview of what Cleveland is capable this season, putting up big numbers in the first half and decisively putting teams away early. The Cavs finish up the preseason tonight in Columbus where they take on the (Senior-citizen-ridden) Celtics. This should be a good game and will create a lot of anticipation for the season opener next Tuesday night. LeBron James is underrated.
Doug Collins on Cavaliers chances this season
Here is a video from NBA.com, where Doug Collins talks about the moves the Cavs made in the offseason and how this team will respond to the addition of Shaquille O' Neal. Interesting video and he makes some good points. Stay Classy Cleveland

LeBron's All-Time Starting 5
This is a video of LeBron talking about his all-time starting 5 lineup. Funny he put Shaq in there. Would he have said him if they weren't new teammates?

Meaningless loss to the Mavericks

The Cavs lost to Dallas Friday night 93-82 as LeBron, Shaq, and Mo did not play because Mike Brown held them out. Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 points, but this game means nothing. It was kind of weird watching Drew Gooden play for Dallas, everytime he and Boozer go against the Cavs they seem to play with a chip on their shoulder. The regular season is less than 10 days away and the Cavs want to have all their starters rested for a 70 win season.. It's gonna happen. LeBron James is underrated

Larry Hughes says LeBron will stay in Cleveland

Larry Hughes is relevant again.. (not really) by bringing up LeBron James' future. Larry reiterated that he thinks LeBron will stay in Cleveland after this year. When asked about LeBron, Hughes said, "He's got a good opportunity to win there. And I knokw a lot of people talk about him playing in a big market, but he just wants to win a ring. It's not about playing in a big market." Hughes and LeBron still talk regularly and has said that James is happy with the direction the Cavs are going as a powerhouse in the NBA. Cleveland fans remember Hughes as an under-achieving, over-paid player that the Cavs paid big money to, when they failed to sign Michael Redd in the summer of 2005. They gave this guy a 5 year contract worth $70 Million! Easily one of the worst decisions the Cavs front office has ever made. The former "Man-of-Steal" is playing for the Knicks this season, but barring unforseen success for either Hughes or the Knicks, (unlikely) Hughes will probably not play there past this year. Maybe Larry Hughes knows what he's talking about, maybe not.. but at least someone in the NBA thinks LeBron will stay. The city of Cleveland desperately needs LBJ. LeBron James is underrated for sure

Cavs lose to Wizards, LeBron DNP
The Cavaliers lost last night to the Washington Wizards, but LeBron James did not play because of flu-like symptoms. NBA.com reported today that LeBron is being treated for the H1N1 swine-flu. This shouldn't worry anybody too much, LeBron will be healthy and back in action long before the regular season starts. Shaq looked legit; He had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and had both a block as well as a steal in just 19 minutes on the floor. Even with those decent numbers, Shaq said, "I don't really turn it up in preseason and just protect myself out there. I'm not going into all my tricks yet. I'm shooting the ball well, feeling loose out there." Good to know Shaq, we look forward to seeing your "tricks" this season as we try to win an NBA championship. The Cavs are now 3-1 in preseason (undefeated with LeBron) and have 4 games left until the start of the regular season. I leave you with a delicious block that Shaq had on Gilbert Arenas. LeBron James is underrated

Cavs vs. Olympiacos
Here's a video of the Cavs destroying an international team from Greece, the Olympiacos. The Cavs looked great and Shaquille O' Neal even jumped ino the stands trying to save a ball. This is just preseason basketball, but the Cavs look impressive. LeBron James is underrated

LeBron on Entourage
So LeBron just happened to be in California when they were shooting the season finale of Entourage, and he made a guest cameo alongside Matt Damon. In the episode (it was hilarious) they played themselves and forcibly tried to convince Vince to send them a check to help kids in poverty all over the world. Here is a video of LeBron behind the scenes of the shoot with Jeremy Piven. Enjoy

Mo Williams ready to erase disappointment of last year

Mo Williams did not play in the Wine and Gold Scrimmage this past Saturday held at U of Akron, because he has a mildly strained groin. He seems ready and willing to help erase the disappointing end to the Cavaliers season last year. He talked to reporters about how he thinks he tried to play at a speed that was too fast for his game. Mo admitted, "Looking at the that tape, watching those games, the way I felt in those games.. I felt like I wasplaying at a different speed than I was during the season. Just simple things. If I'm coming off a pin-down, I'm going so fast and not being able to get my feet set, I'm missing those shots I usually make because during the season, I'm taking my time. I'm in rhythm, and all of a sudden I'm just speeding through stuff. I started playing at a different speed and trying to force things. The game was so big, I wanted to do well." Mo went on to say that, "Having that experience, knowing that, if I'm in that situation again, I'm going to be the same person, controlling the game, playing at my tempo.
Looks like Mo is feeling good about this season. Probably playing another year with LeBron has something to do with it. LeBron James is underrated.
