LeBron to wear # 6 next year
Last night following the Cavs win in Miami, LeBron James stated that he will not wear #23 next season. He instead will #6, his olympic number. His reasoning is simple, he wants to commemorate Michael Jordan, and thinks no one else should ever wear that number. The real question is, in what city will LeBron adorn the #6? (He doesn't answer) LeBron James is underrated
Cavs win in Miami 111-104, LeBron scores 34

Last night in Miami, The Cavs took it to the Heat as LeBron scored 34 points and led the team to a solid victory. The Cavaliers played great basketball and even though Dwayne Wade and Miami kept it close, they were no match for the Cavs overwhelming defense at the end of the game. Now I have to admit, Anderson Varejao got posterized when D-Wade dunked on him in the first quarter, but LeBron had a nasty dunk too with two hands. This was a statement game for LeBron and the Cavs, who improved their record to 6-3. Offensively we are looking much better in both transition and the half-court, and the offense is starting to flow much smoother. You all have heard the rumors recently of Dwayne and LeBron possibly playing together next season, but don't read too much into it. LeBron wants to play for a championship contender, which the Heat don't resemble at the moment. That's just a media creation trying to latch onto something that's not there. For what it's worth, LeBron made some interesting comments following the game regarding Michael Jordan and the #23.. LeBron James is underrated

Cavs win vs. Magic 102-93, LeBron drops 36
The Cavs got sweet revenge Wednesday night when they beat the Orlando Magic in Orlando. The team that bounced Cleveland from the playoffs last year in the Eastern Conference finals was no match for Shaq and LeBron as the Cavs cruised to an easy victory. Shaquille O' Neal effectively matched Dwight Howard and Mo Williams scored 22 points on 9 of 9 shooting in the first half. They started off fast and never looked back. Dwight Howard was called for two quick fouls early on, and he did not play for the rest of the first quarter. The Magic did not look good and defensively gave up a ton of easy baskets. Shaq held his own in one-on-one situations vs. Howard, and the Cavs simply put on an offensive show that had the makings of a blowout. This year is quite different from the last, as the Cavs have an inside presence in Shaq and more consistent outside shooters as Parker, Williams, and Gibson are all shooting the 3-point ball with good accuracy. 36 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.. LeBron James is still underrated

Cavs destroy Knicks, LeBron impresses in only MSG appearance

The Cavs defeated the New York Knicks on Friday night, 100-91. The final score was not an accurate depiction of the beatdown that the Cavaliers delivered the Knicks. LeBron James scored 33 points, had 9 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists. LeBron definitely enjoyed the star-studded crowd, which included several Yankees players, Chris Rock, Jay-Z, and John Legend just to name a few. The Cavs went up early in this game and never looked back. The whole night the stupid ESPN announcers kept talking about LeBron's potential future in New York. Clearly, they did not see the team the Knicks had on the court. LeBron has said recently that he doesn't care about the money (he'll demand a max-contract wherever he goes), that he cares more about winning. If he is being honest when he says that, then there is no chance he would go to New York. They are an awful NBA franchise at the moment, and the team they put out on the floor is not worthy of an NBA roster. When an ESPN reporter ignorantly asked comedian Chris Rock if he would be glad to see LeBron in a Knicks Jersey, Rock responded the way any true Knicks fan would. "Of course I'd love to see LeBron in a Knicks uniform.. at this point I'd like to see ANYONE in a Knicks uniform. When Al Harrington is your go-to offensive threat, you're in trouble." New York is not a franchise that LeBron should consider after this year if he is serious about winning a championship anytime soon. The Cavs are sort of legit.. the Knicks, not so much. Terrible officiating in Cavs 86-85 loss to Bulls

The Cavs lost their second home game last night to Chicago 86-85, mainly because of a terrible no-call on the final drive of the game by LeBron James. It wasn't a pretty game, and the truth of the matter is that the Cavs shouldn't have played down to the Bulls level. In addition Derrick Rose only had 14 points. Regardless, LeBron had the ball in his hands at the end of the game, and drove left towards the basket. What happened next was the worst no-call in the history of Cleveland sports. The referee failed to see the clear assault by Joakim Noah on LeBron's elbow. It was so obvious that he didn't block the ball cleanly, and also ran into James' body, while he was busy smacking LBJ's arm. Even though the Cavs allowed them to hang around, the game should have been won on the two free throws that LeBron would have made if the proper foul was called. I hate poor officiating and I hate to see it affect the end result of a game. How do you not make that call? We should have won if not for the blind man wearing a black and white jersey. Cavs rally back to win vs. Wizards, win 3rd straight

Rivalry? What Rivalry? When LeBron was asked last night what he thought about the supposed "rivalry" between the Cavs and the Wizards, his response (or lack there of) said it all. He thought about it for a second, smiled at the reporters, and didn't respond. Pretty much that said it all.. LeBron could care less about the Wizards and doesn't even recognize the "Rivalry" that doesn't exist.
Which brings me to the game. The Cavs started off sloppy and ended up down 39-21 late in the first quarter. Then the Cavs simply pressed the "try" button and turned the defecit into a sizable lead by the 4th quarter. LeBron played well and Shaq had his coming out party, while the Cavs cruised to a 102-90 victory. The Wizards seemed to lose their confidence as the game went on, and they never regained their swag. The two best plays of the game came from Shaquille O' Neal on defense. The first was a hard foul on "Soulja Boy" DeShawn Stevenson, which knocked him hard to the floor.. enough said. It only could have been better if Shaq did the "can't see me" hand guesture that Stevenson popularized. The next play was a block Shaq had on Mike Miller. Miller drove hard to the lane and went flying up for a layup when Shaq's right hand met the ball and Miller before he got to the basket. The result was a bullshit foul but Shaq made his point. Miller almost fell to the ground and The Cavs domination of the Wizards was complete. Even the Wizards know, LeBron James is underrated

Cavs win vs. Timberwolves and Bobcats
LeBron can't be stopped, you can only hope to contain him. This weekened the Cavs defeated both the Timberwolves and Bobcats (whoop-de-doo). In the Minnesota game the Cavs actually looked pretty good offensively, and they played well throughout the entire game. The Cavs needed these wins desperately after the 0-2 start, and these wins should give them something to build on for the month of November. Here's my favorite play from the Bobcats game where Z blocks the shot, Delonte saves it, and LeBron hooks up Varejao for the finish. It was the NBA.com play of the day. LeBron James is underrated
